Yahrzeit (Yiddish for "year-time") provides a special opportunity to remember and honor those relatives who came before us, on the anniversary of their deaths. The synagogue willmail a notice reminding you of each yahrzeit and your loved one's name will be read at Shabbat services on the Shabbat following the actual yahrzeit. Plaques in our sanctuary for perpetual remembrance are available. It is appropriate to list parents, spouse, siblings, and children.
